Damn - already got this one - so no free vibe for me! I read it back in June 07 and my review is available to read online; http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11064. I think i'll have to dig it back out of the bed side cabinet now though and give it another go. I have to say though what I love about Black Lace is that it isn't too kinky or edgy - I actually enjoy the stories because they are realistic and do have useful suggestions. I've got three of the Quickies books and enjoy them all!

What did you like about the book, and why?

I liked the variety of stories, and the fact they were all extremely high quality.

Which was your favourite story?

I really liked Life Boat, thought it was very kinky, and it made me horny!

Do you prefer erotic short stories, or novels?

I never used to be a fan of the novels, but now I think they're about on a par. If I'm more careful about which novels I choose (i.e. I'm a sucker for vampire ones... pardon the pun!) then I can enjoy them just as much as short stories.

I think it could have been kinkier - but then I like my stories hardcore!! I thought Pumps was incredibly naughty... and a bloody good idea ;)

The petrol idea sounds like fun... as does being spanked whilst bent over a cannon!! Both might be a little difficult though!

What do you think of erotic books with no photo on the cover?

When it comes to Black Lace I don't take much notice of the cover anyway (Templar Prize from a past month being the exception, he was gorgeous!), I tend to read the blurb to see if it'll be the sort of stuff I like. So wouldn't say I've really got an opinion.

Yes, most definitely!!

What did you like about the book, and why?
Hot stories, quick and easy read, well written, lots of variety.

Which was your favourite story?
I liked the first one the best. Kept my interest and had a nice little unexpected twist at the end.

Do you prefer erotic short stories, or novels?
I think there's something to be said for both. Quickies is great is you're pushed for time or if you just want a hot bed time read, but I wouldn't take it on holiday with me as I'd read it far to quickly. I think the main thing is regardless of whether it is a short story collection or a novel, it needs to be well written.

I don't think it was meant to be kinky (or am I missing something?) It was certainly hot though.

Hmm, sex in a lifeboat sounds great. I'm also interested in trying out some doctor role play too.

Are you a quick reader perhaps? It takes me quite a long time to finish a book, so short stories are ideal for me.
