Lovehoney Erotic Story Competition

Hey everyone,

I know for a fact that lots of Community members are fantastic erotic authors, so our latest competition has been created with you all in mind... ;)

The Lovehoney Erotic Story Competition 2012 is open!

We're looking for exciting erotica between 2,500 and 3,000 words long. You don't need to worry about having previous experience and you can write about anything you like - as long as it's legal, of course.

Every member who submits a story will receive 2,000 Oh! Points. to spend with us. Our lovely panel will then select the top 10 erotic stories, and those authors will receive £100 to spend at Lovehoney. The winning stories will also be published as part of our new ebook series. Very exciting!

 Just a quickie - I've submitted my story now, but my computer's been playing silly buggers all evening and I'm not sure whether it's gone through or not. Is it supposed to generate an email to say you've received it, or anything else I can check it definitely was submitted?

Hmm. I started trying to write something up last night. I've never written erotic fiction before, and I'm not sure I'm going in the right direction..

Also, the guidlines suggest a single viewpoint; I wanted to do first person from both of my main characters. Is this a good idea or not? I know that writing from both viewpoints should still (hopefully!) excite lovers of the sexual situation I'm writing about... Any tips?

Hi LittlePaws , we're not sending out confirmation emails at the moment. We have had a couple of queries about this though, so this could change in the future. I checked for you, and your story has definitely been received and entered into the competition.

Shaftmaster I never even thought to ask that, iv read the rules but now I'm just Confussed :-(
