Haha agreed. But if what's featured in the book is what will forever be known as 'kinky fuckery' then I think we're going to need a whole new phrase for the next level of kink. I still maintain that 50 shades is actually pretty tame...
Compared to the level I play at as a domme, very tame indeed, safe, sane, consensual but so much deeper

I really liked it the first time I read it :) it's the next two books I thought were repetitive and boring. So I attempted to read it again but I just can't deal with it, I keep wanting to chuck it out the window haha

I know, right? As a commited sub I was incredibly disappointed about how the book displayed power-play. We ought to write to the author & tell her how it's really done :P

wonder how many people have turned up to accident and emergency with serious problems in their hands from using ties for bondage
ties are not particuarly safe - they self tighten!
also the whole ben wa / kegel balls thing - i struggle to see how they'd be so interesting while being spanked over someones knee, surley there's not enough movement?
i agree on the ben wa balls thing as u would surely have to at least on all 4s(maybe thats just me) for it to have any kind of effect on u or even standing bent over perhaps?

I'm on the second book now and the sex scenes are really starting to annoy me. It seems to be over within seconds! I'm sorry but girls can't come that quickly every time!!
I've written a few erotic fanfictions and even as a complete novice I was still able to write more than one line about the actual sex! I want the sex to go on for more than five minutes and I want every minute detail. The way that she's written it is so boring.
She might as well just write "Christian put himself inside me. In, out, in out... and I've come".

I always thought that too DDD! And the sex scenes are terribly repetitive which is just annoying & boring. Lazy writing really.

There are quite a few '50 Shades' parody accounts out there. There's one called 50 Sheds of Grey.

realy liked your review :)
I read the book. I wrote my review. I am waiting for it to go live then will link it. I am not shouting about it though
I like your review, too, I read it right now, as I was bit too busy. Summarize it rather well I believe - especially the point that it can make some women feel bit inadequate, as they dont orgasm vaginally etc. I put mine up here as I thought my thoughts are too long for this threat.
Rach: I thought I better put up the link than to post a very long post here. I could write more, but those were my major point against the book. And in this case I just read better books or stories - including some of the stories posted by members here on the forum - which are far better than this.
I heard the 2 other books are better, but that came from people who liked it, so I am not sure if I would dare to read it. maybe if someone has the book and I can borrow it.

I just put the first book on my wishlist for myself (my wishlist is public but just for me to work my way through). I am still unsure about it, so many people raving about it makes me think it will be a letdown personally. I just dont know
