Ow I just got an image of Fabio. You are right in one regard Avriel for the last couple of paragraphs I have been wondering if it flows well and what not so as well as help from a technical aspect the more inportent thing is just content and flow.

Does it have enough oomph to keep women and men interested. I actualy wrestled with the idea of the main charachtor being male or female. As you know AA and without giving away too many spoilers the title is Enter Sandman and I decided after alot of soul searching that sandman should be a women. That will make sense when you read it I promise.

Thinking about doing this for a publisher instead of a bit of  fun like Sanda (which by the way makes it no less important or valid so I look forward to seeing your stories as well) makes it a trifel harder when the breif is always nagging at the back of my mind. It makes me more analytical of my work from a quality standpoint and I just need to take a step back and not worry about it so much but that in itself is difficult for me.

You are right in a sense regardless of what the technical English is like and without going into too much detail I want to know what effect the story has on all of you. If you felt like you needed to ehrm work out your excitement or not. The biggest complement an erotic writer can get was that was so steamy it stuck with me till I did something about it, or something like that.

That is why i am happy with the response this thread has had. There is a good mix of people with different backgrounds and I can get a different response in terms of both language and sexual qaulity. Any way the longer I talk here the less I get done. Ill check back again tonight.

And again thank you for the support.

Thank you KK and everyone else. I'm going into the final portion and should have it finished tonight. It would have been sooner but some Zombies got in the way and they forgot who's boss (me btw). Promise I will get it  done for at least Monday.

To say again anyone who would like to help please send me an e mail as I cannot post the story publicly. Hope to hear from you all soon.

Finally it is done, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Sorry it took longer than  expected but it's done. I'll be sending out e mails in the morning, after a well deserved rest. And I really hope you all enjoy it. I will be writing a thank you story in the coming weeks, as a thank you to everyone who has taken the time to be supportive and helpful. It truly means a lot to me that you are willing to give up your time for me.

From the bottom top and sides of my heart, thank you.

I finally sent the story in the hopes that it will be picked up and eventually published most likely for xcite's e-book range. Either way I will let everyone know what happens and again thank you to everyone who offered their time and opinions to try and make it as good as it could be.

Ok say so it's been almost 3 weeks since the story went out and i havn't heard anything back from Xcite so I can only assume that i failed. I was feeling really good about this, from what people have said about my writing in the past i thought I was starting to get preety good but i guess not.

I really feel like I want to give up. Trying to peice together a story is driving me to the brink of insanity and god knows I was pretty close to it before. I just want to scream and shout and cry and forget I ever tried this stupid crazy idea in the first place.

I am so sorry to everyone who devoted time and energy in to making the finished product as good as it could be. I feel like I have let everyone down and it hurts. I probably wont be writing anything else for a while mabey ever but again I want to say thank you and sorry.

Avrielle Selphi and Sanda deserve a massive thank you for helping me and sticking with me through it all. They all in their own way gave me the confedance and courege to take my shot and they all deserve a massive thank you for the work they did, so thank you.

Anyway I probably won't be around the forums much more in the coming months but I will be back some day.

Aw no!

Leon, please don't stop writing, even if it's just for your own pleasure. You are a good writer and it would be a shame for you to stop. Even if you don't start writing again straight away, you should go back to it again.

I'm sorry that it has knocked your confidence, but think of how many published writers got knocked back by publishers and how many times and how many publishers they have sent their books to. I'm sure there are very very few who have had their writing published the first time.

Did you send off the other story you wrote?

It may be worth contacting Xcite just to find out. It may be that they just haven't looked at it properly as it isn't the type of story they are looking for at this moment, or it may have gotten lost? At least if you contact them they should get back to you and you wont be hanging in mid-air thinking have they/haven't they?

Don't let it get you too down. Perhaps you could join a writers forum to help build your confidence in writing again, even if you don't actually put any of your stories on there right away.

Much love. xx

The one thing that always annoys me when I'm reading is a sentence that does not make sense or a misspelled word. I'm actually quite OCD!

I'll be happy to proof read it for you.

Welcome to the forums Laura. I find I get dissapointed when reading a book that is actually ver popular and find spelling mistakes etc. I'm re-reading Game of Thrones just now (before the second series starts on telly next week) and I'm getting frustrated when I keep finding spelling mistakes. I have to re read the sentance uf there is a bad error in it. Kinda throws me off a bit.

(I realise the irony with my own mistakes in this post but using my mobile phone and I'm tired! Lol!)

Anyway, I popped in to say that if you read Leon Bellmonts latest posts you will see that proof-readers are not needed just now. But I really hope that Leon comes back to the forums soon, writing stories and building his confidence again. :-)

Hope to see you around the forums LauraP. xx

Ok so my inane 11 35 pm ranting was somewhat premature. I spoke with K D Grace the other day and it is common to have to wait for up to six weeks before hearing back from an editor. Better than that she gave me some advice and even better than that I got my story back. Bad news is it was rejected, the good news is the rejection is a technichal hitch and the editor had no other problem with it.

Once I revise and rewrite my story I will send it back along with a couple of vampire stories i am also working on. I have until the 5th of July to get them all in so I will be needing fresh eyes in the coming weeks.

Sometimes everything just gets on top of me, like a pressure that crushes me and makes me want to give up everything. Christ it's like one of those sappy black and white movies were the cute yet vulnrable emotional woman breaks down before being cheered up and kissed by the handsome man. Makes me sick. I hate when life gets like that.

Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know.

Lots of love.

Thanks. The only problem was the age of one of the chrectors. College boy is now a 35 year old dentist with a beautiful wife and a baby girl. That was the only thing that was wrong so it is easy to fix.

I'm glad its such a minor thing to fix Leon. I love writing but I haven't got the guts to share anything. Thanks for the welcome avrielle, I'll see you around.

Laura take my advice and put something out there. Even if it's just a little paragraph or two. The more you write the better you become. I'm sure that you are very good and I would very much like to read some of you're work.

Being an authors daughter theres a very real pressure. I love my father, he's got a seriously sick sense of humour but for now I'm quite happy writing for my own pleasure. Maybe one day I'll consider it. Thanks for the encouragement.

I see. So long as you are happy to just write. Anytime you feel you are ready to share I will be keeping an eye out. Till then, have all the fun you can.

If I didn't love it I wouldn't do it; much like my job. Ok I work for the money but I love what I do. I love writing. However I'm always going to be a perfectionist and due to lack of experience and certain anatomical features I'm really rubbish at writing as a male. Other than that I don't tend to delve into the erotic so I don't think my work will be of that much interest; but thanks again Leon x

Your welcome. And as for the anatomical lack, I find that reading about other peoples experiences and stories that included the, whatever your missing, helps you to get a feel, pardon the expression for what you are missing. I find that when I am trying to write as a women it is sometimes better to work on a characters personality and the rest slots into place.
