It's always lovely to read a gushing review (especially about a G-spot toy) and this one celebrated the "fall-on-your-knees, hallelujah-chorus inducing" Uma by Je Joue.
We felt this review by, with pared back information and an easy sense of humour, would be an ideal read for sex toy newbies...

Channel 4's Four Rooms is not your usual antiques programme, and last night alongside the score from Psycho and the chair J K Rowling sat on while she wrote Harry Potter, was an antique dildo dating from 1893. It stumped the group at first, till antiques dealer Celia Sawyer explained, "it's a dildo... quite a small one."
Complete with a US patent and a hollow centre for hot or cold water, this steel dildo is the ancestor of modern metal dildos and glass dildos used for sensory play.
A hand-me-down from her grandmother, the seller had high hopes of selling the dildo-cum-heirloom for a whopping £4,000. But alas, her resolve was not as steely as her dildo, as Jeffrey Salmon's offer of £1,111.11 was accepted - and sealed with a kiss! (No tongues though.)
Unfortunately, the deal was done before Gordon Watson could get a look in. Perhaps an unlikely admirer of the dildo, he said, "every fibre of my being, every single nerve-ending is ready to do whatever it takes to get the piece." Despite being "not quite my thing" Gordon Watson would have offered £3000, as a client of his is Belgium's largest collector of dildos.
Now, that's someone we'd like to meet...
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby got hands-on with sex toys on This Morning today, as sexpert Tracey Cox gave advice on three of the most common sex problems.
Two couples explained their troubles and were given practical solutions by Tracey, while one woman explained how she had never had an orgasm despite her best efforts. Tracey Cox recently suggested Magic Wand Vibrators in her Closer Magazine column, so it came as no surprise that a mains-powered wand was her top suggestion to help Lynn achieve climax.
"That's a beast of a thing!" exclaimed Phillip Schofield as he grasped the Lovehoney Mains Powered Deluxe Magic Wand Vibrator, while Holly Willoughby showed her sex toy know-how by commenting "I presume that's external?"
Tracey explained how it's worth trying a mains-powered vibrator, even if conventional vibrators have failed in the past.
The couple with a mis-matched sex drive - where he wants to have sex several times a week, while she'd be content with sex every few months - were offered some great advice to help bring the couple's sex drive into alignment. Tracey emphasised the importance of cuddling and working on an intimate connection that would hopefully satisfy both partners.
As well as Tracey's advice to increase intimacy and desire, we think something like the Tracey Cox Supersex Sensation Stroker (a sleeve that enhances hand jobs and can be used by either partner on him) would help give him the release he wants, while at the same time involving her in his solo pleasure.
The final couple featured had encountered the common problem of finding it difficult to resume a fulfilling sex life after the birth of a child. To exercise the pelvic floor and get the body used to penetration again, Tracey suggested the Supersex Toner Balls from her own sex toy and sexual health range.

Review of the Month
Our winning review this month gives a brilliant account of a beginner's electro sex toy, describing all the various positives and negatives of experimenting with electro sex and plumping for the all-in-one Mystim kit.
We felt this review mixed the facts with personal experience in just the right way, giving readers the confidence to try something a little out of the ordinary.
"With one electrode on my wrist and the other on my bicep I experienced involuntary muscle contraction which I struggled to resist at around the 8/9 out of 11 mark on the intensity dial. That was very interesting to test, and the feeling of complete helplessness was exciting.
Sensation-wise, the product is excellent. Electro-sex is exciting, fun and diverse. You can cause intense pleasure or delicious pain with great ease. If you like either this is a product worth getting without a doubt."

If you're in search of the strongest, most powerful vibrators then look no further than Tracey Cox's top picks.
When it came to recommending powerful vibrators for readers of her Closer Magazine column, two mains powered vibrators sprang immediately to Tracey's mind: the astonishingly powerful Rock Box Mains Powered Unisex Vibrator and the slightly more practical Lovehoney Mains Powered Deluxe Magic Wand Vibrator.
Drawing their power from the mains, these two epic toys are the most powerful vibrators sold on Lovehoney.

A curious spike in the sales of sex swings left staff here at Lovehoney HQ scratching their heads. What could possibly be the cause of a run on sex swings? Are they kinky Valentine's gifts? Or a novel way to keep warm in the cold snap that's got the country all-of-a shiver?
After a little research, our answer came in the shape of Channel 4's Desperate Housewives. It turns out, Bree Van de Kamp's enterprising daughter Danielle was creating sex swings at home (though Bree was under the impression it was some sort of exercise equipment).
But forget the antics on Wisteria Lane, it's what's going on in bedrooms up and down Britain that's really got everyone at Lovehoney in a spin...
