My boyfriend watches internet porn all the time. How do I cope with this?
Confront him - but in a light-hearted way. Joke that his computer gets to see him more than you and that you know what he's doing on there.
Question:
I found my boyfriend watching porn on the internet and have started checking the history on the computer. He's watching it all the time and it's starting to really get to me.
I know all guys do it but I feel threatened. How do I cope with this?
Tracey Says:
I get emails like this almost every day, so don't feel like you're the only one coping with it! You're right that lots of guys do it but that doesn't mean you have to pretend it's not happening.

See if he 'fesses up - if he doesn't, you'll have to tell him you clicked on 'history' to find a website you'd been looking at and saw he'd been looking at porn websites.
Tell him you feel threatened by it. Is it because you feel he wants you to look like the girls on screen or do what they do? Ask him if this is what he wants. I suspect he'll tell you it's not the case. Let yourself be reassured.
Believe me, I don't know one guy who really wants one of those girls as a girlfriend, they just like looking at them and it's an easy, no-fuss way to masturbate quickly. Can you write it off as just something guys do, if it's not interfering with your sex life?
